Thanks for stopping
by the coach.
You just walked through our home on wheels — now here’s everything you asked about (and a few things you probably meant to ask). Specs, features, our color and interior picks, and a direct line to RiverStone if you want more.
A little more about the rig you just saw
RiverStone launched in 2016 as Forest River’s answer to what a truly top-of-the-line fifth wheel could be, and this year marks the brand’s 10th anniversary. It’s built on one of the beefiest frames in the industry, with the kind of fit and finish that makes it feel like a home rather than a trailer — which is exactly why we picked it.
Everything on this page reflects our actual coach: a 2026 RiverStone 420RE finished in the Mercury full-body paint scheme, with Slumber Sloth cabinetry and Chocolate furniture inside. If you toured it in person, you already know the layout — this is just the reference sheet.

420RE — Rear Entertainment
The 420RE is one of the newer floorplans in the RiverStone lineup, built around open, inviting living space. A large L-shaped sectional anchors the living room, the galley-style kitchen keeps cooking and serving easy even with a crowd, and the dual-vanity bathroom has more storage than most apartments we’ve lived in.
Inside the 420RE
The layout you toured — galley kitchen, rear entertainment lounge, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
Other RiverStone floorplans
We picked the 420RE, but RiverStone builds seven other layouts on the same frame and construction standard — in case you’re comparing notes for your own search.
420RE
Galley kitchen, L-shaped sectional, dual vanity bath. New for this generation.
39RKFB
A couple’s layout with 1.5 baths and a walk-in closet en-suite.
421FK
A dream-kitchen layout with a breakfast bar overlooking the living room.
425FO
A hidden office with two workstations behind the entertainment wall.
43BFC
An expanded kitchen and one of the largest walk-in closets in the lineup.
442MC
A rear entertainment room that converts into a second bedroom, 1.5 baths.
44DBL
A dual-suite layout with a Murphy bed flex room and its own rear entry bath.
42FSKG
A bonus garage beneath the primary bedroom, built for smaller toys like a golf cart.

A quick word on how it’s built
You don’t need to know this to enjoy the coach, but if you’re the type who checks under the hood — here’s what’s holding it together.
3″ Hung Wall Construction
Dual-pane frameless windows set into a 3″ hung wall with a high-gloss gel coat exterior.
All-Steel Upper Deck
Aluminum stud framing on 16″ centers, topped with a rolled fiberglass roof and 1/2″ plywood roof decking, with 5/8″ tongue & groove plywood floor decking below.
Composite Slideout Floors
Batten insulation runs through the walls, slideouts, ceiling, and floor for year-round comfort.
Triple 7,000 lb. Axles
Ours rides on three 7,000 lb. axles with the LCI Road Armor suspension system and 17.5″ H-rated tires on aluminum rims.
Also from our family: Copper’s
Copper’s Southern Seasoning & BBQ Rub
When we’re not on the road in the 420RE, we’re making small-batch Southern seasoning blends back home. Copper’s started the same way this coach did — wanting something built right, without cutting corners — and it’s the seasoning that ends up on everything we grill at the campsite, too.

A few things people usually ask
What does it actually tow like?
With a 3,240 lb. hitch weight and an 18,065 lb. unloaded weight, it needs a properly rated one-ton dually — happy to talk through what we run if you’re shopping trucks.
Is the interior really that color in person?
Close — ours is Slumber Sloth cabinetry with Chocolate furniture, which reads warmer and lighter than the Cocoa Bean tone shown in RiverStone’s catalog photography.
How’s it done in the heat and humidity?
Ours came with all three 15,000 BTU quiet-cool A/Cs with heat pumps — that’s the Legacy Package upgrade over the standard two — and it’s kept up fine in Gulf Coast summers so far.
Where can I get pricing or find a dealer?
That’s best answered straight from RiverStone — their dealer locator will point you to the nearest one carrying the 420RE.
Have a question we didn’t cover?
